We all know the dandelion flower which transforms into thousand wishes to be blown into the sky in autumn.
But did you know that the dandelion can help reduce your UTI symptoms?
Allow us to explain how this beautiful plant can help you get rid of UTI nuisances.
Where? What? How?
The normal habitat of Taraxacum officinale or Dandelion is situated in moist and marshy meadows in Europe and Asia.
Many clinical studies have been published on the antibacterial effect of the polysaccharides of Dandelion leaves against, among others, E.coli – and precisely these bacteria are the main cause of UTI. The leaves also contain 4 sesquiterpene lactones, active substances which have a strong diuretic effect. Its leaves also contain some bitter substances of which some have an anti-urolithiatic effect which means they prevent the formation of calcium kidney stones.
